Lyda (not Lydia) Daniels was born in 1886 in Pike County, Kentucky, the daughter of William Daniels (1844-1899) and Mary McCoy (1851-1939).


She worked in a boarding house in West Virginia ran by her sister Maggie. Lyda m.1. Andrew Blackburn on December 23, 1901 in Mingo County, West Virginia m.2. Balas Toth on July 6, 1910 in Delorme, Mingo County, West Virginia. He was Hungarian and he worked in the mines. She m.3.Joseph Lehosky on Sept. 26, 1915. He also was a Hungarian miner. Lyde m.4. Frank W. Arndt on December 2, 1919 in Geauga, Ohio. Frank was a railroad fireman and worked in the Diamond Alkali plant in Painesville. His family was from Prussia, of German descent. They immigrated to America in 1889. Frank passed away in 1948 and Lyda remained in Ohio where she had an antique shop.


Lyde passed away on October 12, 1961 in Painesville, Ohio and was laid to rest in the Perry Township Cemetery, Perry, Ohio.
