Maggie "Mag" Daniels was born October 24, 1882, according to Daniels Bible records, the daughter of William Daniels (1844-1899)and Mary McCoy (1848-1939).

She ran a boarding house in Matewan, West Virginia along with her sister Lyda and also had a restaurant in Matewan, West Virginia. Maggie also helped raise her brother Nelson's children when they lost both their parents.

Maggie married James Keatley on December 29, 1900 and had one child, Ethel Keatley. Maggie's husband, James Keatley, died in 1903. She married 2. James H. Hall on April 14, 1904 in Mingo County, West Virginia. She married 3. Lawrence Slusher on March 31, 1921 in Matewan, West Virginia. She married 4. Eugene Terry. Her other children were Hiram Wesley Keatley born 1910 and Ervine Wesley Keatley born 1911, whose father was Hiram Wesley Preece and George Keatley born 1914, whose father was George Hans/Hontos from Greece.

Maggie was a hard worker and in her time, it wasn't easy. She had a heart of gold and would do anything she could for even strangers.

Maggie passed away on December 28, 1946.
