Julia A. Rogg, nee Dumler was born at Russell, Kansas, August 9th, 1904, she attended the schools of this city, graduation with the class of '23, later teaching school and working at the J. C. Penny co., of Russell.
On February 16th, 1931, she was united in marriage to Herbert A. Rogg, two sons were born, one who died in infancy, Ronald, age four years old, with his father survives. Also her mother , Mrs. George B. Dumler, Four sisters, Lena Dumler, of Sheridan, Wyo.; Mrs. J. G. Meier, Wichita Kansas; Mrs. Manford Wilkerson and Mrs. Edward Mohl of Russell; four brothers, Albert and Carl of San Diego, Calif.; and Edward and Rudolph of Russell.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Methodist Church at 2:00 o'clock, with the Rev. Wm. J. Jenkin conduction the service. The members of the Rebekah Lodge attended in a body. Mrs. Rogg was a Past Noble Grand of the Lodge.
