According to the family bible, Allen married Margaret "Maggie" Maude Reeves, February 6, 1904, at Pryor, Oklahoma. The marriage was officiated by Rev. C. Hosfelt. They were the parents of nine children. Allen was a farmer living in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Born in Kossuth, Des Moines County, Iowa of an English father, Richard Bennett, who married in Canada, Anne Finlayson. Allen Bennett's father was born in Yorkshire, Leeds, England.
