Ida Jane Hatt was born 7 July 1871 in Parke County, Indiana to William Albert and Martha Ann Braden Hatt. Ida had three half-brother, Herbert Wright, Prince Albert, Burton M., and a half-sister Cynthia Ethel (Lynn and Pyle).

Ida Jane married Leonard Coyer Stevens on 21 July 1889 in Parke County, Indiana. There were six children born of their union, Joseph Earl, Cecil Coyer, Cynthia B. (died as an infant), Sophia Esther (Scott), Cylde Ingram, and Orval Lester Stevens.

Leonard C. Stevens died in Normal, McLean County, Illinois on 13 October 1925, and Ida J. Stevens remarried to Jermiah
"Jay" Reilly on 12 March 1929 in Pontiac, Livingston County, Illinois. Jermiah Reilly died on 29 December 1933, and is buried in the Saint Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery,
Pontiac, Livingston County, Illinois. No children were born of their union.

Ida Jane Hatt Stevens Reilly, died on 20 May 1962, while a resident of the Livingston County Nursing Home (Livingston Manor). Her death certificate listed her burial place as the South Side Cemetery. It is believed that she is in the old City Cemetery in a potters field and this cemetery could be a part of the South Side Cemetery. She does not have a tombstone. It is believed that she was survived by one son, Clyde Ingram Stevens of Baltimore, Maryland.
