Cecil Coyer, Cynthia B. (died as infant before 1900 Census), Sophia Esther (Scott-died 1916), and Orval Lester Stevens (died 1940). His father died 13 October 1925 in McLean County, Illinois and his mother Ida Jane Hatt Stevens Reilly died 20 May 1962 in Pontiac, Livingston County, Illinois.
Cylde married Edith Viola McGowan in September 1917, Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of John and Mary Dadan McGowan. There were six children born to Edith and Clyde, John L., Dorothy(Rosenfield, Boyer), Orville LeRoy, Evelyn Elaine (Watson) and two living sons.
Clyde was living in Pennsylvania at the time of his death, in August 1970, while visiting one of his sons. He is buried in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, six children, 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
His obituary states that he moved to the Baltimore area after World War I, but he was there by 1917 when he married Edith. He also registered for the draft during World War I and listed his home at 21 West E Street, Sparrows Point, Maryland and he was married at the time he registered on 12 September 1918. His son, Melvin told me his father was in USMC and those records have been found online at Ancestry.com. He retired from Bethleham Steel at Sparrows Point.
