Born March 20, 1931, in Baltimore, Md., a son to the late Clyde and Edith (McGown) Stevens, he retired after 30 years at Bethlehem Steel Co. Mr. Stevens was a U.S. Navy veteran having served on the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Midway, during the Korean War. Mr. Stevens was a member of the Bethlehem Steel Workers Union 2809 and 2810 in Dundalk, Md., where he served as Union Steward. He enjoyed working with his hands in his garden and making crafts.
Mr. Stevens is survived by two sons, Michael P. and his wife, Cheryl Stevens of Parkton, Md., and Donald A. and his wife, Vycky Stevens of Red Lion; two daughters, Sharon M. Donagher and her companion, Monica Anderson of York, and Theresa K. and her husband, Richard Cushing of Churchville, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore, Md.
