Blanche Ayers McAllister, 84, of Stoney Fork Rd., Wytheville, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, in the Wythe Co. Community Hospital, Wytheville.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 12:30 p.m. at the Gillman Funeral Chapel, Wytheville. Interment was in West End Cemetery, Wytheville.

She is survived by her husband, Howard C. McAllister, Sr. of Wytheville; a daughter, Beth A. McAllister of Wytheville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Kaye McAllister and H.C. and Kathy McAllister, all of Wytheville; a sister, Annie Reynolds of Austinville; and two grandchildren, Ryan McAllister and Tessa McAllister.

The family received friends Saturday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (service time) at Gillman Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mount Pleassant United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the charity of choice.

Gillman Funeral Chapel in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
