Louis Giere died Tuesday at the Dunn County Hospital. He was a former resident of the Township of Otter Creek. Mr. Giere was born June 18, 1879 in Mower County, Minn. [Note church records show the date of birth as June 8, 1879.]
Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, at 1:30 p.m. from the Olson Funeral home, Rev. F. L. Taliakson officiating and interment in the Wheeler cemetery.
Survivors included one brother, Martin, city, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Koenig, Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Mary Valvick, Red Wing.
