YORK Arthur F. Flinchbaugh, 97, died November 23, 2007, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Rose L. (Poff) Flinchbaugh. Mr. Flinchbaugh was born on February 16, 1910, in York, a son of the late Emory and Rose A. (Spangler) Flinchbaugh. Art owned Art's Industrial Catering Service and also owned and operated the former Avenue Diner. He was a member and an elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a member of the York Area Remote Control Flying Club, AARP, and the White Rose Senior Center. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave., with the Rev. David Tallalofai officiating. The funeral procession will form at the main entrance of the cemetery. John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., East York, is in charge of arrangements. Arthur is survived by a daughter, Phyllis E. Doll of Dover; a son, Rodney A. Flinchbaugh of Dover; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Jacqueline Lauer of York. He was predeceased by a grandson.
