Ethel LE. Plank, 61, of 619 Vander Ave., died at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Elwood L. Plank and of the late Elam H. Harbold, who died In 1969.

The service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing wil be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Special Olympics, care of The Kennedy Foundation, Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Plank was born in York, the daughter of the late Emory and Rosanna (Spangler) Flinchbaugh. She was a member of Zion Mennonite Church.

Mrs. Plank also is survived by four sons, Gerald Harbold, Suffield, Conn.; Edward Harbold, Dover; John Harbold, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Peter Harbold, Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters, Janice Nabb, Clayton, Del.; Joyce Hostetter, Manchester; Jacqueline Kimbrell, Hazel Green, Ala., and Stephanie Lehr, York; 12 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; two stepchildren, James Harbold, York, and Jean Bacon, York; eight step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richmond Flinchbaugh, Arthur Flinchbaugh and James Flinchbaugh, all of York; two sisters, Dorcas Lindsey, York, and Jacqueline Lauer, Dover.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. David K. Stoltzfus, and the Rev. Gilbert B. Livingston, pastor of First Church of God. 01-15-85
