Rose L. Flinchbaugh, 80, of Springettsbury Township, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday at York County Hospital and Home. She was the wife of Arthur F. Flinchbaugh.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Mount Rose Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Flinchbaugh was born Sept. 24, 1913, in York. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lillie M. (Rose) Poff.

She was a seamstress for the former York Suit Co. and Grayhill Manufacturing Co. and also owned and operated Arts Catering for 17 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Flinchbaugh also is survived by a son, Rodney A. Flinchbaugh of Dover; a daughter, Phyllis E. Doll of Dover; a granddaughter; a step-grandson; a great-grandson; a step-great-granddaughter; a brother, Steward Wallack of York; and a sister, Elizabeth Berk of York. Mrs. Flinchbaugh was preceded in death by a grandson.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Jeffrey D. Wilson, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 320 N. Queen St., York 17403. 06-03-94
