Prince had two brothers, Herbert Wright Hatt and Burton Monroe "Bert" Hatt. He had one sister, Cynthia Ethel Hatt Lynn Pyles and one half-sister, Ida Jane Hatt Stevens Reilly.
He married his first wife Gertrude Paskey on 3 September 1905. There was one daughter born of their union, Pauline Elizabeth Hatt Delrymple.
Prince married his second wife Grace Alice Spencer on 25 September 1909 in Howard County, Indiana. There were eleven children born of their union, six dying at a very young age.
Prince Albert Hatt died on 9 July 1964 and was buried on 13 July 1964.

PRINCE HATT
Prince A. Hatt, 82, 1528 S. Union St., died at his home at 6:50 p.m. Thursday following three years' illness.
Born in Newport, March 8, 1882, he was the son of William and Susanna (Hollingsworth) Hatt. Most of his life has been spent in the Kokomo vicinity.
In 1909, he was married to Miss Grace Spencer, who survives.
He is a former 27 year employe (sic) of the Hossier Iron Works.
Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Betty) Pattengale, Kokomo, and Mrs. Lorena Hall, Anderson; three sons, Floyd (Bill)Hatt, Charles Hatt and Ralph Hatt, all of Kokomo; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Three sons and three daughtrers are deceased.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Ellers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
