Loy Frank (Buddy) Wynn, died in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, at 9:30 p.m. Friday Oct. 16. He was 83. Mr. Wynn farmed many years at Dodson then moved to Plainview, where he also farmed. He moved to Lubbock after the death of his wife, to be near a daughter.
Mr. Wynn was born at Rising Star July 26, 1898, the son of H.E. and Nancy Ellen Marshall Wynn. They moved to Dodson many years ago, and on Feb. 25, 1925, he was married to Gertrude Walker in Shamrock. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are three sons: Ralph Wynn and Buddy Wynn, Jr., of Lubbock, Eddy Wynn of Amarillo, three daughters, Mrs. Mid Scott and Mrs. Dayle Tipton of Amarillo and Mrs. Raymond McDaniel of Lubbock; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Rollins of Las Cruces, N.M., and 12 grandchildren.
