Mrs. Agnes Spencer (Agnes Edna), daughter of David M. and Amelia (Milberger) Dumler, was born 8 July 1906 Russell, Ks. She departed this life at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Mission, Ks.,26 Nov. 1977, age 72 years, 4 months, 18 days.

A lifetime resident of Russell, she married Harlan Spencer 18 Aug.1929 at Russell. Two children survive her. Her husband died 2 Dec. 1955. After the death of her husband, she became a nurse's aide and worked at the Russell City Hospital for 16 years, retiringin 1970. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and cheerful disposition.

To remember and cherish her memory are her children, Mrs. James(Nancy) Stankiewicz, Overland Park; James, Aurora, Colo.; sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Mildred) Cling, McPherson; Mrs. Carl (Mollie) Colombo,Englewood, Colo.; Mrs. James (Imogene) Hoffman, Russell; brothers, Albert S. Dumler, McPherson; Paul A. Dumler, Hobbs, N.M.; Bernard M.Dumler, Canadian, Tex.; three grandchildren, Julia, Greg, David Strankiewicz. Preceded in death by parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters.

Memorial service 1:30pm Tuesday, 29 Nov. from the church with Rev.Raymond York. Burial was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Cline Funeral Home, Russell, in charge of arrangements.
