RICHARD DALTON SPOTSWOOD
Richard Dalton Spotswood, 42, hardware salesman, died at 10:35 a.m. yesterday of cancer at the home of his sister, Mrs Count Boyd Jr.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Marshall, Donnelly and Combs funeral home, 201 Twenty-fifth ave. The Rev. Luke Fuqua will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Olivet cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
Mr. Spotswood had been in poor health since last March.
A native of Nashville, he was the son of the late Alvan E. and Emma Dalton Spotswood. In 1937 he married the former Miss Jean McRae of Nashville. He was divorced in 1945.
Others surviving are three brothers, Alvan H. Spotswood, Chattanooga, Russell T. Spotswood, Memphis, and Capt. G. W. Spotswood, USAF, stationed in Madrid, Spain.
