Mr. Adkins is survived by wife Avis Adkins; son Donnie Adkins of Beaumont, Texas; daughters Cammie Parker of Kountze, Texas and Julie Lynch of Nederland, Texas; sister Lura Mae Evans of San Augustine, Texas; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
