Fernia E. Salyer Harrell, 80, of Shawnee died Sunday in Shawnee. She was born January 11, 1923 in Cement to Stephen H. and Lacy O. Clift Salyer.

She had been a resident of Shawnee for two years, moving here from Bristow. She previously lived in Prague for 42 years. She graduated from Binger High School in 1940. She attended Shawnee Beauty College and owned the Prague Beauty Shop for many years and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Prague First Baptist Church and attended the First Church of God in Shawnee.

She served as homeroom parent for her three children throughout their school years. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Past Worthy Matron and Grand Chaplain.

She married Lawrence Winchester on May 17, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later married Therman Russell Roller on October 5, 1944 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1985. She later married Elgan Lyle Harrell Jr. on April 29, 1991 in Seminole County.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Afton Salyer and Floy Salyer, two grandchildren, Scotty Adams and Susan Randol, sisters-in-law, Lois Salyer, Jo Ann Salyer and Nadine Salyer and a brother-in-law, Vernon "Heavy" Blackburn.

Survivors include her husband, Elgan L. Harrell Jr. of Shawnee, sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Barbara Roller of Broken Arrow and Bennie and Melanie Roller of Prague, daughter and son-in-law, Starla (Randol) and Christopher McCulloch of Shawnee, stepchildren and their spouses, Terry Lee and Beth Harrell of Aledo, Texas, Elga and Max Walker of Shawnee, Dean and Wanda Harrell of Shawnee and Curtis and Shelly Harrell of Shawnee, sisters and brothers-in-law, Flenia and Clyde Blakley of Anadarko, Freda and Lloyd Burd of Amarillo, Texas, Florita Ann Davis of Deer Creek, Illinois, brothers and sisters-in-law, Forrest Salyer of Anadarko, Foy and Colleen Salyer of Loveland, Colorado, Farrell and Connie Salyer of Goodfield, Illinois and Freeman Salyer of Cyril, grandchildren, Shai (Randol) Haswell of Lexington, Michael Roller of Sherman, Texas, Marci Roller of Bakersfield, California, Jeremey Roller of Prague and Justin Roller of Prague, step grandchildren, Anthony Johnson of Tucson, Arizona, Brandi Walker of Shawnee, Christopher Harrell of Shawnee, Amanda Harrell of Shawnee, Casey Harrell of Shawnee, Andrew Harrell of Aledo, Texas, Leah Harrell of Aledo, Texas, Ryan Harrell of Aledo, Texas, Robert Annanders of Shawnee, LeeWanda Clark of Eufaula and Jeremy Annanders of Shawnee, three great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with the Rev. Tom Harrison and the Rev. Lloyd Burd officiating. Burial will follow in the Prague Cemetery.
