Born Dec. 21, 1924 in Scurry County, she was the daughter of Lloyd M. and Jewel Lee Reeves. She had lived in Carthage since 1970 having moved her[e] from Snyder. Boothe, who was a homemaker and a member of the Carthage Church of Christ, was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Vestal Boothe, who died in 1985.
Survivors include her sons, Riley and Tommy Boothe, both of Carthage, and Powers Boothe, of Hidden Hills, Calif.; brothers, Lloyd Delmar Reeves, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kenneth Reeves, of Abilene; sisters, Mae Vaughn, of Carthage, and Bobbie Hilchey, of Longview; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Beaver, Tod Boothe, Shaune Boothe, Mike Hilchey, Wiley Boothe, and Dallas Boothe.
