She married Donald Wayne Vaughan on July 28, 1954 and celebrated nearly 52 years together until he preceded her in death on July 26, 2005. Mrs. Vaughan was a homemaker, a seamstress and loved to paint. She was a member of the Carthage Church of Christ. Mae is a preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Melvin Elroy Reeves, Lloyd Delmer Reeves, Kenneth Lee Reeves; Kathryn Boothe, Hazel Lee, Mariann Neblett.
