Born March 27, 1920, in Estancia, N.M., Mrs. Foster lived most of her life in Comanche, Hood, Erath and Tarrant counties.
An accomplished seamstress and embroiderer, Mrs. Foster once worked as head wardrobe mistress alongside the Academy Award-winning designer, Travilla, sewing and stitching his creative designs into beautiful, wearable works of art. Later in life, she worked as a hospital volunteer at Harris Methodist Erath County Hospital in Stephenville for several years.
The youngest child of seven children, Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and William Easley of DeLeon; all six of her siblings; first husband, Capt. Garvin Walker, USAF, of Dallas; and second husband, Mr. Coy Foster, of Lipan.
Survivors: Mrs. Foster is survived by sons, Lindy Walker and his wife, Margaret of Fort Worth and Jerry Walker and his wife, Kathleen of Lubbock; grandchildren, Wade Walker, Jennifer Heddins and her husband, Jason, Jamie Lin Erwin and her husband, Charlie, all of Fort Worth, and Sarah Gilpin and her husband, Chad of Spring; precious great-granddaughters, Kenley and Hannah Heddins of Fort Worth; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of wonderful friends.
