In his leisure time, M.R found great pleasure being outdoors and especially going fishing. He was very active and a hard worker; he took pride in doing everything he did. For twelve years he owned and managed M.R. Fore Construction Company. He later helped his brother C.M. Fore set up Foretravel Dealerships around the country.
He loved spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was being an adoring grandfather to his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. M.R. loved his son and daughters and especially enjoyed the times when they were all together. He was equally adored by the love of his life, Nina Odare Yates Fore. They were members of Alto Baptist church.
M.R. enlisted to serve his country in the United States Army on February 15, 1947. He fought for his county honorably in the Korean War and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation medal.
M.R. is survived by his loving wife, Nina Odare Yates Fore; son, Danny Robert Fore and Dana; daughters, Wilma Diann Fore Collier and her husband, Rayford Larry and Julia “Judy” Ann Fore Collier and her husband, Dale; eleven grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and friends that love him and will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James E. Fore and Mary Damaris Fore; daughter, Nina Denene Collier; brothers, J.D Fore, T.A. Fore, and C.M. Fore; sisters, Mary Barfield and Martha Fore.
