John was born on January 24, 1920, to the late James E. Fore and Mary Damaris Rowell in Altus, OK. John married, Ms. Evelyn Weaver, on August 30, 1976. John loved and enjoyed being with his family. In his leisure time after retirement, he found great pleasure in anything that had to do with genealogy, working in his garden with his plants and also playing 42 which he loved to WIN. He also spent his time writing. He showed and shared his love and belief in Jesus Christ. John's favorite scripture from the bible was Psalm 100. John was also a faithful member of the American Legion and the NRA.
John is preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Proctor Fore, mother of surviving children; sons, James Edgar Fore and wife, Peggy of Houston, Texas, John Davis Fore, Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter, Cynthia Jean Hardy of Carrolton, Texas; brothers T.A. Fore of South Carolina and MR Fore of Douglass, Texas; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and a host of friends.
Also preceded in death are his daughter, Linda Sue McDonald Holland; grandson, Jason McDonald; brother, CM Fore; sisters, Mary Barfield and Martha Fore.
