The remains of Mrs. Virginia Dailey, who died at Hollywood last year, reached the old home Wednesday afternoon and now rest in the pretty grove where her parents, her husband and many kindred sleep.
Mrs. Daily, whose maiden name was Virginia Woodson, came to Honey Grove when a child and made her home here until a few years ago, when, being alone, she went to Hollywood, Calf., to be with her daughter and grandchildren.
It was her desire that her remains should finally rest in the pretty cemetery at her old home, in the grove perhaps in which she played as a child, and where later she saw the remains of many loved ones and friends laid to rest.
Mrs. Edna Henderson, daughter and only child of Mrs. Dailey, accompanied the remains here. Many relatives and friends met the remains and accompanied them to their final resting place. A prayer service was held at the grave.
Among those of out of town who were here for the burial service were Mrs. Richards, of California, who accompanied Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. C. B. Bryan, of San Angelo, Mrs. H. G. Walcott, Mrs. J. Warren Jones, Mrs. Mollie Cox and Mrs. Alex Hahn, of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Spurlock, of Greenville; Mrs. J. P. Smith, of Plainview; Mrs. Pinckney Price, H. L. Dailey and wife, of Paris; Mrs. J. B. Dailey, of St. Louis; Eugene Craycroft, of Sherman.
