Mother of James Baker, John Thomas Baker, David George Baker, Walter Aaron Baker, Mary Anne Baker, Ellen Baker, William Baker, Mary Maud "Amy" (Baker) Cooper, Francis Henry Baker, Edward Arthur "Ned" Baker, Oliver Septimus "Ollie" Baker, Edeva Ruby Edna (Baker) Rush, and Albert N. "Arthur" Baker.
Died in the "Bungalo" private hospital. Buried in family plot with husband John Thomas, and children Arthur, Anne, and Ellen.
On Tuesday evening the death occurred at the "Bungalow" Private Hospital of Mrs. Baker, wife of Mr. John Thomas Baker of Gregadoo, and formerly of Lake Albert. The deceased who was 47 years of age had been in the hospital a fortnight. The cause of death was enteritis. Mrs. Baker was very popular amongst the residents of Lake Albert and Gregadoo and when her death became known there was many expressions of regret and sympathy with her husband and family. She leaves a family of 10 children. The funeral took place yesterday and was largely attended by friends. The number of vehicles following the hearse was nearly 50 and there was in addition several horsemen. Rev. F. Duesbury officiated at the graveside. Mr. J. M'Intosh carried out the funeral arrangements.
