Mrs. Theresa M. Smoyer, wife
of the late Dr. Henry Smoyer,
widely known North Tonawanda
physician, died this morning at her
residence, 1150 Oliver St.
A charter member of the Third
Presbyterian Church, Women's
Benefit Association and the Sun-
shine Society, Mrs. Smoyer was 83.
She was active in church and so-
cial circles of the city for many
years.
Survivors include a son, Henry
L. Smoyer of Pendleton; a sister,
Mrs. Louise Argue of Lockport,
and two brothers, Nickolas Bower
of Gasport and John Bower of
Lockport.
Services will be held at 2 p.m.,
Monday at the Fretthold Funeral
Home, 1241 Oliver St., with the
Rev. William H. Saye officiating.
Burial will follow in Acacia Park
Cemetery.
