Albert Smith "Curley" Lambert, son of the late Hugh Nolan Lambert, Sr. 12-26-1880 - 1-17-1965, buried at Pisgah Gardens, Transylvania County, N. C., and Rose Lee Eleana Smith, 1884 - 1927, buried at Lambert Family Cemetery, Swain County, N. C. Married Floy Wenonah Whitetree, 7-11-1916 - 2-18-2008, buried at Blythe-Owl Cemetery, Swain County, N. C. (they were parents of a daughter, Rosalee she survives).
Also preceded in death by four brothers, Herbert Lambert, Jarrett Lambert, Jesse Lloyd Lambert, and Fredrick Lee Lambert;

Survives include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Reynolds Lambert; one daughter, Rosalee Irene Lambert Robinson, (Ray); along with granddaughter, Renee' Robinson Tiger; great-granddaughter, Megan Wynn; two sisters, Mary Anne Lambert Luff and Virginia Caroline Lambert Sweet; three brothers, Paul Leroy Lambert, Arthur James Lambert, Sr. and Hugh Nolan Lambert, Jr.; Step Mother, Ava Lorena Hall Lambert, three half brothers, Richard Randolph Lambert, Roy Adams Lambert and John Hall Lambert; three half sisters, Betty Ann Lambert McCall, Sarah Kay Lambert Owen, and Peggy Sue Lambert Phipps; many nieces and nephews; and 2nd wife, Agatha "Aggie" Kuykendall Lambert.

Curley was a business man, owner and operator of The Chief Motel, and several Craft Shops in Cherokee.
