Two Boys Drowned
They Were Bathing and Got Into Swift Current In The Bitter Root River
While Trying to Rescue His Younger Brother The Other One Gets Beyond His Depth -- Bodies Recovered.
Hamilton, Aug. 23. -- Two boys, sons of Marion and Jacob Overturf, aged 16 and 19, were drowned to-day in Bitter Root river near Darby, where their parents reside. The boys were bathing and the younger got beyond his depth in the swift current. The older one tried to rescue him, but was powerless. The bodies have been recovered. The parents are well known ranchers in the Upper Bitter Root.
