Mrs. Rosella Overturf Is Dead at Hamilton
Hamilton, April 12. -- (Special). -- Mrs. Rosella Overturf, widely-known Montana woman, died early this morning at her home here. She was a native of Ohio, and was 85 years of age. Mrs. Overturf came with her husband, the late J.B. Overturf, to Deer Lodge in 1883 and four years later to the Bitter Root valley, settling near Darby. For the past 15 years Hamilton has been her home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L.D. Williamson of Libby and Mrs. Ida Waugh of Hamilton; three sons, Simon and David of Darby and Elmer of Hamilton. Burial will be at Darby by the grave of her husband, who died in April 1913. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the local Christian church by Rev. L.E. Obert.
