Freda C. Ramsey, 76, of Geneva, Ohio, died Saturday evening, Dec. 12, 1987, at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
She was born March 1, 1911, at Mapleton, R.D., the daughter of Monroe F. and Nora A. (Dell) Chilcote. She was united in marriage to Raymond Pannebaker June 2, 1934. He died in May 1940. She then married Austin Ramsey in December 1947 and he preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Garner, of Geneva, Ohio, and a step-daughter, Mrs. John (Ethel) Cobaugh of Conemaugh. One step-son, George Ramsey, preceded her in death. There are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
Five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ramsey was a member of the United Methodist Church in Geneva, Ohio. She was also a longtime member of the Bowman's Chapel United Methodist Church, Mapleton, R.D., where she had resided prior to moving to Geneva in 1981. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, Cassville, the Rev. William D. Jones officiating. Interment will be made in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services Wednesday.
