Jacie May Nicholls Bassett, 73, died March 23, 1981 at the Cody Hospital where she had been a patient for 5 weeks. She was born in Lovell on December 31, 1907 to Charles and Chresta Nicholls. She married Chancy N. Bassett on February 17, 1926 in Lovell. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
She is survived by three sons, Dave of Portland, OR, Dan of Byron, WY, and Allen of Thermopolis, WY; three daughters, Loa LeBlanc of of Thermopolis, WY, Erma Hibbard of Norwalk, CA, and Holly McMackin of Byron, WY; one brother, Clyde Nicholls of Byron, WY; four sisters, Annie Shumway, Naomi Fales, Hillma Wheat all of Lovell, WY, and Kate Cozzens of Deaver, WY; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, March 27, 1981 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lovell L.D.S. Church. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home is in charge.
