My Third Great Uncle Ira was the son of my Third Great Grandparents, Henry C. and Jane Hamilton-Taylor. He married Olivian "Olive" Vanleeman, April 1, 1845, in Jasper County, Illinois. Their children were Charles H., Harriet A., Hester B., and Dora Taylor of Knox County, Indiana.

Ira died sometime between 1865 and 1870. Their last daughter Dora Taylor, age 5 in 1870 (born abt 1865), and Olive listed husbandless in the 1870, Palmyra, Knox County, Indiana, census. The cause of his death, and where he is buried remain a mystery.

From the Knox County, Indiana, Civil War Registration record, Ira's birth year is estimated to be around 1819.

Like the Atterson/Auterson Connection and Attersons/Autersons Connected, this book is loaded with pictures, interviews, diagrams, documents, and many other factual proofs.
