My Third Great Uncle, son of War of 1812 Veteran Henry C. Taylor and wife Jane Hamilton. Sometimes his name is spelled "Lott." Lot first married Charity Kneisan, October 10, 1847, in Jasper County, Illinois. With her they had William H. Taylor and Jane Taylor, both born in Henry County, Indiana. Lot then married Eliza Ann Romine-Cooper, November 21, 1852, in Vigo County, Indiana. Their children were James A., Harry S., Eliza A., and Lot Taylor, Jr.

It is uncertain at this time where and when Lot died. He is last mention in the 1880, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, federal census.

My third book in the family series regarding my maternal side has now been published. This book not only details my Taylor family, but also my Brock, Brockschmidt (Brocksmith), Earp, Randolph, Smith Connections and much more. Like the Atterson/Auterson Connection and Attersons/Autersons Connected, this book is loaded with pictures, interviews, diagrams, documents, and many other factual proofs.
