Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. John Berchman's Catholic Church for Gladue Meche, 59, who died at 10:30 p.m. Monday in the Lafayette General Hospital.
Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro.
Survivors include his wife the former Ada Courville of Sunset; a son Loycie J. Meche of Lafayett; three daughters, Mrs. Eldine Meche of Lafayette, Mrs. Barbara Hebert of Winnie, Texas, and Mrs. Linda Gayle Mouton of Cankton; a brother Jerry Meche of Cankton, five sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Quebodeaux and Mrs. Nolia Daigle both of Lafayette, Mrs. Mable Bernard of Carencro, Mrs. Mathilde Trahan of Port Arthur, Texas, and Mrs. Etha Breaux of Port Acres, Texas, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be said at seven o'clock tonight (August 9, 1977) in the funeral home.
