Mrs. Mary A. Turner, age 37 years, wife of Rev. Dixon L. Turner, died in a Fort Worth hospital last Friday afternoon about 3 o'clock.

Besides her husband, she leaves two little daughters, Shirley and Dorris, and a little son, Leland; father and mother, C.P. Galley and wife, of Traer, Iowa, and four brothers, Leslie and Walter Galley of Hereford, Hollis Galley of Enid, Oklahoma, and Cyrus Galley of Moline, Illinois.

Her father was critically ill and her wother [sic] could not attend the funeral.

Funeral services were conducted at Estes Funeral Chapel, Saturday morning by Rev. J.D. Ray her pastor of Gambrell Street Baptist church, Fort Worth and Rev. C.G. Carter of Granbury and her remains carried to Dimmit [sic] for interment.

Mrs. Turner was born in Iowa, but came to Texas when 12 years of age, living at Hereford. She was married to Mr. Turner about sixteen years ago. The family moved to Granbury in June, 1929, and Mr. Turner served as County Agent until January 1, 1932, when they moved to Fart [sic] Worth, where Mr. Turner entered Baptist Seminary to complete his course for the Ministry and he kept close contact with Hood county people, serving the Acton and Fall Creek churches as pastor.

Mrs. Turner was a wonderful character, active in church work never to busy to do a kindly deed, loved by all who knew her, and had many warm friends who regreted [sic] to see her move out of our community and her death saddened many hearts.

Mr. Turner and children have the heartfelt sympathy of all in the loss of their loved one.
