Katherine was born in Honea Path, Anderson County, South Carolina daughter of the late, Dr. Thomas A. and Ella Gaines Hudgens and widow of Lucius Wright who died in 1940. She was survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jean Cooper from Jacksonville, Fla, Mrs. Eleanor Anderson from Greenville and Mrs. Margaret Williams from Honea Path. Services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. with internment in East View Cemetery.
