Survivors include two sons, James Thomas Hasty and Jonathon David Hasty of Broken Arrow, OK; a daughter, Rebekah Elwanda Harp of Green Forrest; a brother, James Hasty, Jr. of Ola ; two sisters, Elwanda Ellis of Okmulgee, OK and Oleta "Tincey" Birkhead of Ola; an uncle, Opal Tilmon of Dardanelle and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday at the Ola United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ed Kerr. Burial was at Sandlin Cemetery in Ola. Active Pallbearers were Giles McVey, J.C. Scott, Robert Buford, Billy McCoy, Coy Rose and Phil Young. Honorary Pallbearers were Dr. James 0. Pennington, Jim and Steve Hasty, members of the Ola School Board and members of the Ola Lions Club.
