WICHITA FALLS - Graveside services for Joe R. Calvit, 86, of Wichita Falls, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010, in the Spring Hill Cemetery in De Kalb, with the Rev. Larry Linam officiating. Arrangements are by Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Mr. Calvit died August 10, 2010.
Mr. Calvit was born on August 17, 1923, in Dekalb.
He served our country in the Army Air Corps and retired from the U. S. Air Force Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Frances Pope Calvit; daughters, Joni Nolen, Jeanne Hext and Julie Redd; son, Charles "Chuck" Calvit; brother, Clarence Calvit; and sister, Ava Nell Zapp.
