Ora Leffler, 80, Park Road, died Sunday at 5 a.m. at his residence, having been in failing health the past year.
Mr. Leffler was born march 7, 1900 near St. Paul, the son of Lewis and Myrtle Woodward Leffler.
he was married to Marguerite Berauer Nov. 8, 1920, and she survives, residing in a nursing home in Shelbyville. He is also survived by two sons: Robert and Michael Leffler, both of St. Paul; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers: Roy and Charles Leffler, Shelbyville, Edgar Leffler, Indianapolis and Woodson Leffler, Wabash; two sisters: Mrs. Herman (Floe) Basey, Shelbyville and Mrs. Joseph (Ellen Mae) Mofford, Marion.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Leffler, who died October of 1965 and by three brothers: John, William and Wilbur Leffler.
Mr. Leffler was an auto mechanic and for 55 years owned and operated service stations in various locations in Greensburg and St. Paul.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Browning officiating and with burial in South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today.
