Tulsa Loses Pioneer By Death of C.C. Sigler
C.C. Sigler, age 69, died at his residence 78 North Gilette, yesterday after a siege of illness which first attacked him in the form of influenza eight weeks ago.
In the death of Sigler, Tulsa loses one of her pioneer contractors. Born in Hebron, Ind. Sept. 18, 1848, he came to Tulsa in 1902, when this city was only a village. He never left it and has been a prominent factor in its upbuilding.
In addition to the wife, three sons, Ross and Claud, 2112 Burnett, Jack, 78 North Gillette, and two daughters, Mrs. Louise Steinhilber, 619 South Boston and Ruth 78 North Gillette, survive. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
