KINGS MOUNTAIN — Margaret Pressley Arrowood, 87, Lincolnton, Ga. died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Ga.

A former resident of Kings Mountain, she was born in Cherokee County, S.C. and was a daughter of James Floyd and Mary Ross Pressley.

She was retired from the textile industry and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Arrowood; brothers, James Venoy Pressley, Odell Pressley and Jake Pressley; sisters, Georgia Lutz, Mary Frances Pressley and Rose Queen.
