BLACKSBURG, S.C. -- Mr. William Odell Pressley Sr., 84, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at Mountain View Nursing Center, Spartanburg.

Burial will be in Clingman Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Pressley, a native of Cherokee County, was a farmer. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served tours in Europe and North Africa. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
