Sis was born Oct. 8, 1921 in Orr, Okla., to Henry Edward and Ruby Lee Fore Tynes. She passed from this life on June 17, 2009, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
She and Edward Gothard were married Jan. 10, 1938, in Ringling, Okla. She retired from Stromberg Carlson as a Relay Adjustor.
She attended First Baptist Church of Lone Grove for more than 40 years and recently had been attending Stobtown Baptist Church. She was the former chairperson for the Senior Citizens Board.
She had lived in the Ardmore Village and the Lodge since 1991.
She is by survived two daughters, Faye Mangrum and husband C.W. of Durant, Okla., and Kaye Harrod and husband James of Oklahoma City; four sons, Jimmy Gothard of Lone Grove, Okla., Eddie Gothard and wife Donna of Lone Grove, Bobby Gothard of Midwest City, Okla., and Benny Gothard and his wife Gloria of Lone Grove; two sisters, Billie Richards of Ardmore and Betty Ruth Bumpass of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, J.V. Tynes of Rangley, Colo.; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Butch, Dennis, Lee, Royce, Tim, Bill and Robert Gothard and Paul Mangrum.
A family visitation will be held at Craddock Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday evening.
