Henry Wm Vickers was born at Cleveland, Ohio, on March 21, 1861, and passed away on December 21, 1929, being 68 years and 9 months of age at the time of his death.
On November 3, 1884, he was united in marriage to Miss Amelia Loveless. The following year they came to Nebraska and have been residents of the state ever since. To them were born five children, one of whom died in infancy. The other four are Amy, Dick, Frank and Rose.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, the four children, 19 grandchildren, three sisters and one brother. The children are; Mrs D. A. Overturf, Mrs D. E. Davidson and Frank Vickers of the home community and Dick Vickers of Shickley, Nebraska. The sisters are Mrs Mary Boddye and Sylvia McNish, both of Fairbury, Nebraska; Mrs Susie Wookey of California. The brother George P Vickers, lives at Alberta, Canada.
Funeral service (sic) were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, at 2:00 Rev Ruppert officiating and interment at Grove Chapel cemetery.
