Jesse Bell Fore married Willie Burford Kizer on 19 October 1920 in the home in which they live early Tuesday at 6 a.m. to leave on the train at 6:45 am on their honeymoon in Dallas, Texas. The vows were recited by Rev. J.E. Evans, the pastor of First Christian Church.. The bride is the talented daughter of W.L. Kizer and has lived here for several years. She is a graduate of Graham High School and has held a responsible position with John E. Morrison for some time. The groom was raised in Young County and is familiarly known as Jesse. He is a successful young businessman and has a bright future in the business world. He has been in business here for some time and is very popular. The happy couple will soon return to Graham to live.

Jesse Bell Fore moved to Graham, Texas with his parents as a small child from Memphis, Texas in 1901. For 54 years, Mr. Fore has been a partner with his brother, George Fore in Fore Brothers, an automotive electrical business. Jesse Bell Fore has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, and was on the City Council for 10 years. Mr. Fore served on the Graham Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years and was a former Graham Fire Chief. Mr. and Mrs. Fore are active members of the First Christian Church. Jesse Bell Fore has been a deacon in the Christian Church since 1921. He was an avid spectator sports fan. Mr. Fore was a former member of the Graham City Council and the Lions Club. Bud Fore resigned as fire chief at Graham and retired in July 1953 after 31 years of service with the Graham Fire Department. He became a member of the fire department on 1 April 1922. He was promoted as Chief of the Graham Fire Department in 1949. He succeeded Q. Street, who was appointed Fire Chief in 1913. Mr. Fore also served 20 years as secretary of the Fire Department.

Services for J.B. Fore, Sr., 78, of 827 Elm Street, were held at First Christian Church officiated by Dr. Travis White, president of Midwestern University at Wichita Falls.

Survived by his wife; one son - Jesse B. Fore, Jr; one brother - George Henry Fore; five grandchildren.

Enlisted for World War I draft in Graham, Texas when he was employed at Norris Johnson Hardware Company where he worked as a clerk and machinist. His mother was solely dependent on him.
