Quincy Maughan Jensen, age 71, died at EIRMC of a heart attack. He was born at Burton and attended Burton Elementary School, Madison High School, Ricks College at Rexburg and The Brooks Institute of Photography at Santa Barbara, California. He had been a resident of Ammon and Idaho Falls since 1953. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and married Aileen Jane Cook on May 2, 1952 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
He worked for KID TV and KIDK TV from December 1953 to November 1991 when he retired.
He was a charter member of the Bonneville Historical Society and a member of the Idaho Humanities Council. He was a member of the LDS Church and was a High Priest at the time of his death. He served an LDS Mission to Denmark.
Funeral services were November 10, 1993 at the Ammon Second Ward with burial in the Burton Cemetery where military rites by American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V. were performed. Surviving were children: Mrs. Kim (Judith) J. Anderson, Whitefish, Montana, Mrs. Craig (Susan) J. Aston, Logan, Utah; Mrs. Wesley (Lisa) J. Whipple, Naperville, Illinois. Siblings: Grey Jensey, Draper, Utah, Stanley Jensen, Inkom, Idaho, Mrs. C. (Juliet) Maathius, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Walt (Zola) Mullins, Salt Lake City. He left 14 grandchildren.
