Jean Foreman, 84 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 3, 2020 at her residence in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Jean was born on April 28, 1936 in Franklin, Arkansas to Victor Paul and Audie Lee (Simpson) Batterton. As a young girl she lived in Franklin, Arkansas and attended Violet Hill School. When she was a teenager the family moved to Caney, Kansas where she later met her husband Richard “Doodle” Foreman.

Jean spent many years working as a cook, as well as working at Pawhuska Garment Factory. After losing her husband in 1979, she moved to Barnsdall and returned to school to receive her G.E.D and then her LPN. Her passion for nursing led her to Barnsdall Nursing Home then to Jane Phillips Hospital where she retired many years later.

Jean had a love for fishing, rodeos, casinos, and spending time with family and friends.
