Daughter of the late James F. Baptista & Elvira L. “Bebe” (Lopes) Baptista Baros. She graduated from Wareham High School in 1964. She volunteered and was employed during various assignments while a U.S. Air Force wife in Germany and throughout the U.S. She worked as a home health aide for over 10 years for Preferred Home Services. She was a life member of the Dudley Brown Post 2846 VFW Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Baptista and sister, Velma Huffman. Survivors include her husband, Julio P. “Rod” Roderick, Jr.; son, Paul J. Roderick and his wife Missy of North Carolina; daughter, Erika Boston and her husband Nelson of North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Janessa, Brendon, and Jaiclyn; 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Roderick of Onset and Betty Roderick of Carver; 2 brothers in-law, Michael Roderick of W. Wareham and Jonathan Roderick of Onset.
