Graveside services were held at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Restland Cemetery.
Kathleen was born to Charles and Clara Watkins in Nacogdoches on October 26, 1912. She spent her childhood in East Texas before moving with her family to Gaines County in West Texas in 1924. Kathleen graduated from Seagraves High School in 1929. Kathleen taught school in Gaines County for a few years before marrying Cawthon Williams in 1937. At this time she quit teaching to help her husband operate ranches. After more than 20 years of ranching in West Texas, Cawthon and Kathleen moved to Coryell County in 1958. Upon her husband's passing in 1964, Kathleen moved into Gatesville and resumed teaching at Gatesville Elementary.
