Mrs. Harriet Hoffman, widow of Jacob Hoffman, died Monday at her home, 139 North Market street, Elizabethtown, of dropsy, after a years' illness, aged 71 years. She was formerly Miss Harriet Pierce. (Likely an error, step father was Pierce, mother's obit mentions Weaver) She was a member of the United Brethren church, Elizabethtown. She is survived by three sons, George and William, of Elizabethtown, and Jacob of Maytown, and a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Winters, of Lewistown.
